Posterize is a small, invite-only product built by one person. Here is what it keeps and why, in plain words.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email, and either a scrambled (hashed) password or your Google account link. We never see or store your Google password.
- Your boards: the screenshots, recordings and notes you add. They belong to you.
- The waitlist: if you join it, your email address.
- Basic technical logs: your IP address and browser details, kept briefly to stop abuse and fix problems.
Who can see it
Your boards are private to your account. A board's share link shows that board to anyone who has the link, so share it only with people and agents you trust. Posterize's owner can see account emails and, to fix problems, can access stored data. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
Who helps run it
Posterize runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data and delivers the site. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address, and nothing else.
We email you only about your account or the waitlist. We don't send marketing newsletters.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your account and boards at any time by writing to shaun.zinda@icloud.com. We'll act on it promptly.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email.
